How can I make moving easier for you?
Congratulations – you have moving on your mind! This means a new chapter in your life is about to unfold. Whether it’s the excitement of your first house, a move “up”, time to downsize, or a change in your family make-up, it’s comforting to know that you have someone on your side, who’s been there before and can help navigate through the potential ups and downs, and the myriad of details involved in selling or buying a home.
I started helping people buy and sell real estate when I was 19 years old. It’s a passion that has grown over the years. It’s also really easy because I love living in this part of the GTA. I live, work and play in Caledon and its surrounding communities of Orangeville, NW Brampton, Georgetown & Erin. So I have intimate knowledge that will help you sell or buy properties in these areas.
You have many options when choosing a Realtor; I strongly recommend that you take the time to find a good fit. For most people, their home is their largest asset and represents much of their net worth. It is also the foundation of family life and a representation of your unique personality.
Working with a Realtor who will take the time to understand you and your needs when you are buying, or your favourite features about your house and community when you are selling, will make the process easier and more enjoyable.
It all comes down to listening, and sometimes, reading between the lines, then having the knowledge, experience & patience, to make your vision, a reality.
First Time Buyers
It’s about independence, adulting and starting to build your net worth! I love sharing my knowledge to help my clients understand the market & the process, so they can make the best decisions for themselves. It’s exciting and scary, but having someone to guide you and take care of all the details, will allow you to confidently take that first step.
By the way, it doesn’t end there.
Life is hectic and full. You bought your first home a few years ago (or at least it feels like that) and you bought what you could afford. You’ve built some equity and could really use an extra bedroom and more room for the kids to play, or you can now afford the “home of your dreams”. How do you find time to get the house ready to sell? Do you buy or sell first? There are lots of questions and you don’t have time to waste on the details. I’ve orchestrated many moves that involve both buying and selling. The first step is understanding you and your lifestyle, so that I can get to work and help make your dreams a reality.
Been there, done that, then she moved back home! We love our kids and can’t wait to see them, but at some point, it is time to let go of the family home and find a home that suits your new lifestyle. Whether you are still working or retired, there is a lot more freedom….and options. Helping empty nesters decide what they want out of their next home is a journey I enjoy. People have so many different ideas about this time in their life and I love to share their stories. Sometimes sharing the insight of others gives my clients new ideas on how to plan their future, as well.
Patience and compassion are needed to help seniors and their families when they can no longer take care of a home. As an Accredited Seniors Agent, I have taken special training to help my clients through this transition. It is critical that I listen carefully to my senior clients, as well as their families, to ensure a smooth transition that allows my clients to keep their dignity and hopefully look forward to this next chapter in their lives.
